What's in my IPSY Glam Bag: November

Ipsy, Ipsy, Ipsy!! Yayyyyy for Ipsy! And this month's theme: #GirlMeetsGlitter! Uhm, hello, RIGHT up my alley!! Haven't I said "Glitter is my favorite color?" Well, it SO is and I could not be any more excited for this month's glam bag! I mean, I'm only slightly jealous of 2 other items I didn't receive and that is a big improvement from last month's bag!

First up, The Bag: A silver glitter pouch with a pink zipper and signature round Ipsy zipper pull! It is perfect!! It is not the kind of glitter that is loose and falls off, its layered under a clear plastic protective piece and its definitely going into my purse!

Item 1: Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Eye Base in Submissive, full size, value of $14. This is a really pretty chocolatey brown. It has a shimmer in it, but its not overkill. It can be used as just a base with any shadow over it, or it can be used alone for a cream shadow. It can also be layered up to add intensity, if that's the look you're going for. I like in, but I also have a few of these kinds of products, so it will have to go into the rotation I have going now.

Item 2: Temptu S/B Highlighter in Pin Pearl, mini sample, .1 fl oz, full size of 1oz. retails for $27.50. This is an interesting product because it can be used by itself or mixed in with a foundation. I'm actually pretty excited about this, because I've never owned a liquid highlighter and I really wanna try mixing it with my foundation to give me an all over luminous glow and then maybe go back in with it by itself on the tops of my cheek bones. I think it will be so pretty and glowy and not too cray on the highlight.

Item 3: Elizabeth Mott You're So Fine Liquid Eyeliner in Glitterati, full size, value of $17.99. Now, upon first look at this product I was not too excited. I love me some liquid liner but, this looked way too liquidy for my watery ass eyes. Also it has a real brush tip, like with hairs, not like the sponge tips that I have grown to love oh so much. So, I was a little sad that I wouldn't get too much use out of it, but after playing with it and using it right now, I decided I really, really like it! It dries really quick and the glitter in it is just enough to be a little somethin' somethin', but not like straight up glitter on your eye! Not that that would be bad, you've got to know that I have like 5 glitter liners sitting in my stash right now. I just lined my inner rim with a pencil liner like I do every time and put this liner on top and made a rockin' wing on the first time.

Item 4: J.Cat Beauty Wonder Lip Paint in Red Potion, full size, value of $4.99. THIS. IS. MY. FAVORITE. I was so excited when I saw this in my bag and I love it! It looks so dark and vampy and just like my favorite color in fall: ox blood, but it isn't as dark when you put it on your lips. It is definitely build-able and, but I'm sad to report that it never does get to the super dark red it appears in the tube, but I love it regardless! Also, Ipsy didn't include a lip brush with it which would have been nice. I mean I have lots of brushes, but lip brushes, not so much. So I ended up using an old eyeliner brush I got in a Wet 'n' Wild set. I'm liking this one so much, I'm considering buying more!!

Item 5: Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Hairspray, travel size 1.5oz, full size of 8.8oz retails for $8.99. Once again, a product I cannot use. Womp...womp...womp. But it looks like it would be good, and argan oil is everywhere right now. Plus it smells really good, so that's a plus for one of my lucky friends who will be getting this.

In Conclusion: The overall value of this bag, including guesstimations of the trial size prices, is just over $40!!! Whaaat? That is so good! I received 3, count 'em 3, full sized products and two trial sizes, plus the extra cute bag!! I guess crossing my fingers after last month's disappointing bag worked, because I definitely love my bag this month!! Lovelovelove Ipsy- it's the best subscription bag out there!
